Though the spectacular growth Brazil showed in the early and mid 2000s may have slowed of late, Latin America’s giant retains a raw economic potential that is almost unrivalled in the world. This is clearly evident in its mineral sector: the country remains underexplored and its resources underdeveloped, yet there is substantial geological promise. Brazil Mining 2013 explores this promise, and what needs to be done for it to be realised.
